Your AI agent gateway (OpenClaw, Hermes, etc.) runs locally on your Mac — so your Mac needs to be powered on and connected to the internet for your agents to be reachable. If your Mac goes offline, agents will show as unavailable in the app, but TetherClaw, the relay, and your chat history remain fully accessible at all times.
