Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading TetherClaw or using tetherclaw.app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use TetherClaw.

2. Description of Service

TetherClaw is a universal mobile access layer for AI agent platforms. It enables users to connect their mobile device to AI agent gateways including OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, CrewAI, AutoGPT, LangChain, and n8n. TetherClaw does not provide AI services — it provides secure relay connectivity to your own gateway. You are responsible for your own AI platform installation and any API costs incurred by it.

3. AI Agent Actions

TetherClaw provides relay infrastructure only. We are not responsible for actions taken by AI agents accessed through our platform. Users are solely responsible for the configuration, behavior, and outputs of their AI agents, including any real-world actions such as trades, emails, purchases, or other automated tasks executed by their agents. TetherClaw has no visibility into or control over what your AI agents do.

4. Data Transmission

Messages transmitted through the TetherClaw relay are encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols. TetherClaw does not store the content of your agent conversations beyond what is necessary to provide the service. We are not responsible for the content of communications between you and your AI agents.

5. Account Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to use TetherClaw
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API key
• You may not share your API key with others or use it for unauthorized purposes

6. Subscriptions and Billing

• TetherClaw subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial months
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use TetherClaw to:

• Transmit illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Attempt to access other users' gateways or data
• Abuse the relay infrastructure or attempt denial-of-service attacks
• Reverse engineer or resell the TetherClaw service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

TetherClaw is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of TetherClaw. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@tetherclaw.app.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TetherClaw after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Enterprise

TetherClaw Enterprise is coming soon. Enterprise plans will include:

• Team seat management and centralized billing
• SSO / SAML integration
• Dedicated relay infrastructure
• SLA-backed uptime guarantees
• Priority onboarding and dedicated support
